At Welcome.in, we believe it's important to make each stay as smooth as possible. That’s why it’s essential to establish clear agreements about payments and no-shows in advance, so both guests and vacation home owners aren’t caught off guard.
Guest payment: how it works
Guests always pay in advance for their stay. Once full payment has been received, we send the check-in information. This ensures the guest is well prepared and that you have everything in order for their arrival.
What if the payment doesn’t arrive on time?
If we don’t receive payment within the agreed timeframe, the booking will be canceled by Welcome.in. This means the reservation will not go through and the room or accommodation becomes available again for other guests. We do our best to inform the guest in a timely manner, so you’re not left with any loss of income due to an unpaid booking.
What if the guest doesn’t show up (no-show), even if payment has been made?
If a guest has paid but ultimately does not show up, the full cost of the stay remains due. This means the rental amount is fully settled with you. After all, the reservation was specifically held for the guest, and payment has already been made.
