How does Welcome In handle cancellations?

Sometimes a guest may cancel unexpectedly. Here you can read how we handle this and what it means for you as the owner.


Cancellation within 31 days before arrival If a guest cancels their stay within 31 days before arrival, we will pay you the cancellation fee that the guest has paid, minus commission and any costs according to the agreement.


When does the cancellation fee not apply? The fee does not apply if:

  • The renter is moved to another accommodation.
  • The agreement is canceled due to the renter’s breach of contract.

Cancellation within 24 hours after booking Any booking canceled within 24 hours is accepted free of charge. This is an extra service we offer and is more lenient than the standard Recron terms and conditions.


Cancellations through tour operators When a booking is made via a tour operator, the tour operator’s cancellation policy applies.


Our goal: re-renting the canceled period If a guest cancels, we make every effort to re-rent the canceled period. This way, we ensure that you miss as few bookings as possible.
