In the Netherlands we charge a tourist tax/fee of €0.37 cents (incl. VAT) per person, per night. In Germany the rate is €0.20 cents (incl. VAT) per person, per night.
The following activities are (partly) covered by this fee:
* Administration and/or handling fees;
* Paying tourist tax to the municipality;
* Submitting all necessary information to the municipality (e.g., details concerning the occupants of the accommodation, etc.);
* Submitting a specified overview to the municipality of time spent in the property by the owner.
